HGV Weight Restriction
The Parish Council has applied to Oxfordshire County Council for a Weight Restriction Order to keep HGVs out of Charney Bassett and approach roads.

New Bus Service
First and Last Mile (FLM) are running a new service - the 401 - from Stanton Harcourt to Wantage and back. The service runs every Monday morning (starting 16th February) and calls at Charney at 09.56 en route to Wantage and at 12.42 on the return (see full timetable).

Winter Lane Closure
The County Council plan to close Winter Lane for resurfacing work from 23 February between 20.00 - 06.00 hours (i.e. this is a night time closure). The work is planned to take two days but this may be extended if necessary. The official diversion route is through Charney Bassett.
