Closure of Main Street
Main Street will be closed for several days from 27th July for pavement re-surfacing. Access is still available for residents fronting the closed section. Diversion signs should be in place for through traffic.

HGV Weight Restriction
The Parish Council has applied to Oxfordshire County Council for a Weight Restriction Order to keep HGVs out of Charney Bassett and approach roads.

New Bus Service
First and Last Mile (FLM) are running a new service - the 401 - from Stanton Harcourt to Wantage and back. The service runs every Monday morning (starting 16th February) and calls at Charney at 09.56 en route to Wantage and at 12.42 on the return (see full timetable).
